Today's printed matter is a special project I did just for fun. As an end of summer project, I decided it had to involve three things - 1) my summer part time job 2) back to school (blues) 3) print, obviously.
An alphabet project seemed perfectly timed since it's back to school season. And I've been itching to try something with ready made commericial stamps anyway. There were lots of office supply stamps to choose from, but amidst "copy", "scanned", "paid" I knew SHRED! was the one for me. There's a bit of irony here, it's one of my (few) responsibilities at work to shred, shred and shred. Oh, college jobs.
With simple paper stencils that I traced and cut out, I stamped SHRED! all over. Leaving the negative image of the letters when the stencils were peeled away. I had planned to do the entire alphabet, but have only found the time to make the ABCs so far. I'm happy with how such a fun and simple project turned out, and now I really want to do the other 23 letters! What do you think?
